Thank you to your advice on this sub, I was able to restore my favorite boots! Vinyl repair kit and some Kiwi actually did the flim-flam.

The kit said it works on lots of things, including chairs! Information technology fifty-fifty came with a patch in case you need to repair big tears.

What crawly news to share!!!! I'm on the sub a lot and was really surprised to run across an update. I'll exist honest I thought they were a goner! My mom and myself have tossed so many boots similar this and I ever selection up boots like this from the thrift store. Makes me excited for some projects. I did this to a pair of boots that looked about the aforementioned in the starting time, and information technology looked nifty for about 3 weeks and so started showing the wear again. I hope yours lasts longer.

Wow the repair task looks great. For modest scuff marks on blackness shoes, I've used a black Sharpie to embrace up the marks.

I used this repair kit, let information technology dry, then went over it with this Kiwi shoe shine.

To me at that place's something about repairing things yourself that makes then more than valuable than the item brand new.

This is awesome, I've had to do some repairs on shoes in the past but it's usually the rubber bottom peeling off the shoe, I've used blast gum and gorilla glue in the past. Gorilla expands and can look bad real quick, boom glue breaks down I think and eventually breaks free subsequently a chip. Anyone know a better method for this?

Just happened again to a fairly new pair of boots that are otherwise in perfect status and I desire to set them :(
